Where has the time gone?

I haven't done this in awhile. I guess with the headaches and the nausea, I just haven't wanted to type at night. Also, nothing phenomenal has really happened. Dana is still an awesome kid. Her vocabulary has grown. She putting words together like "more doggie" or "hi dada." She loves her multi-syllable words like "cinnamon" and "banana." It is so nice to be able to communicate with her. Even when I can't understand what she's saying, I can usually figure it out somehow. Although the frustration of not being able to communicate has gone away, she has started to hit and get more feisty. I feel the time-outs will start soon. I wish she listened to me more. She sees everything as a game and smiles and laughs to my discipline. It's SO frustrating! And being tired, it's not a good match.

We went to Mommy Ruth's the other night for a family dinner and Dana and Rachel were a hoot. They love each other so much. Rachel is a little babysitter! And when Wendie got into the mix, it was hilarious. They were playing "choo choo" in the hallway and all you could see was them going back and forth every now and then....with Dana usually leading the way. She has such a playful spirit! Just like her parents.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant now. We saw the heartbeat last week. Pretty incredible it's happening all over again. I had some bad cramps last night which freaked me out but all is fine. I'll be really glad when the first trimester is over. The crazy thing is that David and Molly called tonight to tell us Molly is pregnant! I couldn't believe it. So we're about 3 weeks apart. CRAZY! Hopefully they'll see their little heartbeat on 10/31.

The freakin Dodgers aren't winning again. If they lose tonight, it's over. We finally got to the NLCS and they're being typical...sucky.
