We just got back from celebrating our 5th anniversary in San Diego. We took Dana of course and it was fun. I'm exhausted. We all are. But it was fun. My favorite Dana-ism of the weekend was her looking at Mission Bay and saying "pool." She did really well especially for not napping much. But at least we didn't have to sleep in the same room. We put her in the front room and David and I enjoyed some good sleep.
I think Dana is well over breastfeeding although at times she is still clingy. I think she misses the cuddle time. I know I do. I noticed that my nipples have little blebs. I wonder if that goes away. I was worried how the weekend would go without nursing. Again, Dana did great.
The PPD therapist emailed me back and I'm going to go see her on Wednesday. I'm really interested to know what my deal is. My headaches are still with me and I really think it's the caffeine. I'm sure being depressed doesn't help. Seeing kayakers today really bummed me out. I so miss my life when I could go at a moments notice and do whatever...including swim, kayak, etc. I wish we didn't live in the valley. Oh well.
More tomorrow. I'm tired and I need to call the folks.
