I think it's getting easier. Dana seems more content and I seem to be handling things a little better. Our bedtime routine has changed but seems to be working too. She likes being read to and enjoys lying against my chest. I still miss breastfeeding but it was nice to be able to take my migraine meds today without thinking that I was going to have to miss nursing her.
I am so lucky to have an easy going child. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't. I'm just hoping my hormones level off and the new migraine meds work. Mom called twice today. She still just doesn't get it. I explained it to Dad so maybe he'll pass on the message. Whatever. I'm finally taking care of myself. She's on her own.
David will have a couple days off this week so that might help too. We leave on Friday for San Diego. I'm hoping it's fun. We all need the vacation.
Lots of dishes to go do. Then vegging until David gets home.
